Laura has an extensive background in both business development and employee benefits. Laura joined Preventure in 2002 after successfully growing Circles, an employee benefit concierge, by more than 400 percent in its startup phase. Laura oversees Sales and Marketing at Preventure, building lasting, vibrant relationships and positioning Preventure and our full product portfolio for expansion and growth. She seeks to intimately understand each client’s unique employee wellness/wellbeing. During her tenure, Preventure has completed a re-branding and expanded its market presence, as it continues to grow and innovate.

Kathy joined the Preventure team in 2007 after spending more than 20 years as co-owner of a fitness and wellness consulting and management company. She has extensive experience leveraging corporate partnerships and working collaboratively to provide cost-effective, forward-thinking approaches to improve the health of employees. In her current role as Operations Leader, Kathy focuses on operational excellence, optimizing solution delivery and driving the WOW factor for all customer experiences. She also oversees compliance, security and vendor contract management.

Mr. Cooley has extensive experience in creating and building high-performing sales and business development teams, and special expertise in executing significant financial transactions among both private and public institutions.

Barry joined Preventure in 2015 to expand his 25-year career in healthcare benefits and wellness. He oversees the development and implementation of an innovative, highly engaging portfolio of well-being solutions that drive health behavior change, leading to measurable results. In his role, he researches and forges strategic partnerships with leading niche solution providers in the health and wellness industry. Previously, Barry has held leadership roles at a large Massachusetts health plan. He has directed global employee wellness programs for two Fortune 500 companies and was Operations VP for two commercial fitness companies.

Vice President, People Strategies

Pamela is the newest member of the Preventure leadership team, joining in early 2016. Pamela has just over 25 years of experience in various Human Resources roles and has enjoyed this time spent in various industries, including manufacturing, medical devices, non-profit, Fortune 500, and her own consultancy. Her role at Preventure involves people-development and organizational design, and fitting the pieces together to get the most happiness and the highest effectiveness from Preventure’s team of teams.

Vinny Gebhart
Vice President, Technology Operations

Vinny joined Preventure in 2013 and has quickly advanced to the role of Vice President, Software and Tech Operations. He leads the architecture, development and delivery of the company’s technology infrastructure and technical services. He also provides insight and execution on solution engineering, customer care and data management. His team is agile and works closely day-to-day with the account management and customer service teams to ensure high-quality data and reporting efforts. Prior to Preventure, Vinny has held roles in Business Intelligence at Best Doctors, and in Applications Administration at Twin River Casino. Vinny is very active in the Rhode Island business community, where he expanded business collaboration by starting Salesforce meeting groups and recently held the Technology Chair for Leadership Rhode Island.

Brooke joined Preventure in 2013 expanding on her more than 20 years experience in corporate wellness.  She has lead wellness efforts  in a variety of industries; some of which include healthcare, academic, manufacturing and pharmaceutical research. In her role Brooke assists clients in creating programs that generate behavior change for their employees leading to a healthier corporate culture.

Stephanie Davidson
Director, Client Engagement

Stephanie joined the Preventure team in 2012 and has a diverse wellness background working with a variety of employee populations. She worked within several companies’ internal wellness departments, managed many programs as a provider and implemented health education programs within her local community. She has an especially unique perspective since she used to be the main contact for a previous client of Preventure. She knows both sides of the client and vendor relationship very well and uses this viewpoint to ensure a successful partnership.

She currently oversees members of the account team and works with them to ensure client programs are aligned to outcomes and industry best practices.

Tom O'Horo
Director, Client Engagement

Tom O’Horo Joined Preventure in 2012, continuing his 20+ year career in the fitness and wellness industries. In his role with Preventure, he oversees the Client Engagement Division, Health Plan Division, Service Delivery Division and the International Fitness Club Network (IFCN).  Tom is responsible for ensuring overall client program success and excellence in service delivery, member experience and client intimacy.  

Previously, Tom has held leadership roles at the Health and Wellness Institute and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island.
